Candles with Stencil Patterns

If you are having an oncoming party, or even any other event, you can make your candles stencil patterned. This technique is especially useful to make the same patterns: having the stencil cut out you will be able to quickly trim several candles the same way and at the same time. It is better to choose cylindrical candles or candles of any geometric shape. A stencil pattern should be butted against the wax surface very solid to make the pattern outlines sharp. Fasten the stencil pattern with sticky tape and do not let the paint to mar the fuse.

How to make a stencil pattern? Cut out the pattern in a piece of carton or in a thin piece of plastic; that’s going to be a stencil cliché for your candles. You can also wrap the candles with a small piece of lacework or even with a laced tissue to have an intricate and sophisticated pattern. Shiny spray-on paint of metal colours should be sprayed all together, in thin layers, to make the candle be more interesting looking. To acquire the skill you should practice a bit, for example to spray some paint on a piece of paper. Spray the paint in thin layers and you’re going to be really surprised how less you need to achieve an outstanding effect. Spray the paint pushing onto the sprayer shortly and don’t even try to achieve a completely leveled surface, because a bit dented surface looks much interesting.
